Abducted In Broad Daylight - The Emilcin UFO Encounter

Neo (00:00)
I've been thinking, Andrew, we

have alien names just in case.

want to know what my alien name is going to

Android (00:06)
just

ooh, you're so curt.

Neo (00:07)
Yeah.

Yeah,

Kurt the alien. It's Kurt the alien.

Android (00:10)
was dumb.

Neo (00:12)
Why do we gotta make it difficult?

your alien name going to be?

That's dumb. Alright, let's start the show. Welcome to Mostly True Alien Stories.

back to mostly true alien stories. week we are diving into a truly bizarre abduction story from 1978 in Poland of all places.

The Emilcin

got everything,

a quiet farmer, a mysterious mechanical beings and a craft that defies logic. And this one's a local legend in Poland. So

It's still debated to this day

and we are going to get into whether it's a real extraterrestrial

or just a strange story that got away out of hand. And by we, I mean myself and of course my

Andrew Triana. Hi, Andrew.

Android (01:14)
Hi Neal what's going on buddy?

Neo (01:17)
It's nice to see you, man. You know, as we do in every episode, going to lay out the story exactly as it was reported. No embellishments, no exaggerations. Then Andrew and I are going to break it down, see what holds up, and then we'll decide if it belongs in the mostly true file

or not. And of course, we want to know what our listeners think. So make sure you drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know if you're buying into this.

Android (01:34)
Mmm.

Neo (01:41)
story or not. But before we get into the tale of a farmer and his unexpected intergalactic visitors, let's turn it over to Andrew for the latest in alien news and entertainment.

Where are we headed today?

Android (01:54)
Ireland, eerie UFO sightings over Ireland. Just the beginning, this is right from Euro

this just recently happened on March the 15th. It was reported on March the 25th.

Neo (02:09)
And today is the 27th as we're recording. Yep.

Android (02:11)
Yep, yep.

It says, strange lights have been spotted in the Irish skies two nights in a

baffling onlookers and fueling conspiracy theories.

But are these eerie sightings just the start of something bigger?

Neo (02:24)
they're teasing everyone. They're thinking maybe it's something bigger.

Android (02:26)
Yeah, it's a tease.

It's a tease. It's almost like, could it be this?

Neo (02:31)
it be the Guinness we've been drinking?

funny how the aliens appear close to the Irish holiday.

Android (02:38)
wee hours of the morning they're showing up here

just... actually this has happened at the 4 a.m. so there you have it so some say satellites others say swamp gas I love swamp gas I

Neo (02:41)
Always after one o'clock when the bars close.

Android (02:53)
seriously what

Neo (02:53)
How does swamp gas work? I know I've heard that

before. Is that like the moon or the phosphates or something in the swamp gas? Something like that.

Android (03:01)
First of

all, does that mean the whole earth is a swamp? Because guys, these things are being seen all over the place.

Some claim that they're top secret government aircraft

Neo (03:10)
I wonder where they're just coming up with that claim. Like, why?

Android (03:13)
They're already

using the A word.

Neo (03:15)
Aliens?

Android (03:17)
assholes.

Neo (03:18)
I was way off.

Android (03:21)
Yeah, yeah, see at first I thought aliens and then when I read in the article was like no these assholes think that it's just it's messed

Neo (03:29)
mean, just from what you're telling me, I'm not getting the I mean, you know, I think these days were, you know, I think people are seeing more UFOs or calling them UFOs or thinking it's aliens just because more people are looking for them, maybe.

Android (03:44)
Yeah,

Neo (03:45)
now we're at the point of we're hoping that it's that and any thing.

Android (03:45)
Yeah.

It's gotta be that.

Neo (03:49)
Yeah, anytime something happens in the skies now, we're all just like, let's hope it's an alien!

It's no longer, I wonder what that is.

Android (03:57)
they satellites? The International Space Station? Or something far less ordinary? Most onlookers, yeah, no, it could be. Yeah, no, it could be. So this happened over Dublin.

Neo (04:02)
that makes sense though. The space station makes sense.

Android (04:08)
they blamed it on satellites,

That was a plea from Alan O'Reilly of the Carlo Weather Center.

says he's received two videos from followers showing an unusual object in the sky over the last two nights.

looked at the video. It was like, well, that looks like something moving in the sky, but you really can't see it. users were quick to offer grounded

out that low orbit satellites like

are common in the area.

Neo (04:32)
Mm-hmm.

Alright, well I think Ireland is reaching. I think they're reaching. I'm saying this is not a mostly true story.

is first report I've heard out of

They need better ones. I don't want to hear from a weatherman.

saw a video and it looks like it's something.

to New Jersey, dude. Look up an arse guy and you'll think everything's a UFO.

I'm not getting down on Alan or weatherman. like them. I like Ireland. love

Android (04:52)
No, no!

Neo (04:55)
but this story I don't think is.

All right. What else you got?

Android (04:59)
Wow,

Scientific American Magazine released on March, see, this is why I'm fascinated with the Irish story because this came out from Scientific America on March 25th as well.

Neo (05:11)
Okay?

Android (05:12)
The US government's top UFO scientist has an open

about alien visitation.

Neo (05:18)
What does he mean by this?

got to open mind, you're not shutting it off that it doesn't exist is what he's saying.

Android (05:23)
Right, so

I think what he's saying is that all the reports that have said, nothing here has shown that there are UFOs, I think this guy's coming out and going, you know, if there are, I'm open to it.

know what, I'm fine with it. If they come, I'm just perfectly fine with it. I'm content.

Neo (05:39)
He's fine with

Android (05:41)
is coming from John Kozlowski, the Director of the U.S. Department of Defense's All Domain Anomaly Resolution

Neo (05:48)
Okay.

Android (05:49)
want to hear from us, people, normal

Neo (05:49)
What do mean?

Android (05:51)
whether it's captured, just declassified military footage or just smartphone videos uploaded to social

Neo (06:10)
You think he's doing this interview and saying these things because the attitude is changing within the scientific community?

Android (06:17)
I think so. Yeah,

and I really think that's why he's doing it. I think there's been too much stuff happening lately for him not to

I'm open to

Neo (06:25)
that

mean though that they're setting the stage for us because they do know something or do you just think that he's just we need to just say that we're open to this. We're not we're not a closed minded scientific group that says this does not exist.

Android (06:39)
You know, I would probably know better if I actually saw the film Age of Disclosure!

Neo (06:44)
Well, God, here we go again with that.

there's something about this interview that doesn't

as, um, I don't know. Something's off about it

when a celebrity, all of sudden you see a celebrity all over the place or on podcasts or on a talk show and all this stuff. Then you realize they're promoting a movie.

Android (06:58)
Right.

Neo (07:00)
know, they're promoting some project they're working on, you know, all of sudden, they're, you know, certain times of year, you're like, this is what this is, I think, feel like he's, he's setting us up for something, or he's getting ready, because why do this interview now all of a sudden?

Android (07:11)
Okay.

is what's interesting. He says,

having a big push, finally, being able to do this for increased transparency, to find more efficient ways to share information with the public and the scientific community to help us in some of our investigations.

Neo (07:29)
that user generated support.

Android (07:32)
Would you say Gremlins are

things to have around or bad things to have around?

Neo (07:36)
Well, technically gremlins are bad.

Android (07:38)
But the mug wire nod, like little Gizmo was not. He was cute.

Neo (07:41)
Yeah, if you're

talking about gizmo, yeah, I'd love to have gizmo around.

Android (07:45)
Okay, but remember, don't feed them after midnight. Don't put them in direct sunlight. And whatever you do, don't get them wet. Just don't get them

Neo (07:48)
Don't give them water. Yeah. Right.

Android (07:52)
Okay, so the AARO has reportedly deployed the Gremlin

It's a multi-sensor network system for detecting, tracking, and characterizing UAPs in an undisclosed location.

Neo (08:06)
I don't

Android (08:06)
Yeah,

No, it's more high power than that.

Neo (08:07)
It's like a UFO detector that you can buy on Amazon.

Android (08:12)
he says here that Gremlin itself is going quite well and is very

has been running.

Neo (08:17)
I

Android (08:18)
It's just dumb. That's just a talk about a dumb name. That's a dumb name for this, gremlin.

Neo (08:21)
I

mean they had a meeting over this. had their marketing department got together and the scientists they're just like we need to really brand this so people will embrace it and love

really think it's cute but

Android (08:33)
Yeah.

Neo (08:35)
you know dangerous in a way. Yeah. What do you guys what names what names do you guys have what names you have?

Android (08:35)
dangerous and frightening, right? Yeah, so,

I've got cabbage.

Neo (08:43)
no bad idea. So cabbage.

I'd like to put I'd like to put one out. How about kitty cat?

Android (08:45)
Finker?

I love kitty cats.

Neo (08:51)
Yeah, I love who here doesn't like kitty cats.

Android (08:53)
kitty

See, that sounds good.

Neo (08:56)
motorboating

son of a bitches

Android (08:59)
So what if they just said

reportedly

Kitty

Sounds better than

love this writing because it sounds beautifully written, but it says absolutely nothing. says, Gremlin itself is going quite well and is very robust. It has been running out in the wild for several months now, gathering data using radar.

electro-optical and infrared cameras, some electromagnetic sensors. Gremlin is pulling all that in and detecting events in real time. We haven't found anything particular interesting yet, oopsie, but there are a few interesting sightings that are worth

Neo (09:40)
in an undisclosed location.

Running wild. By running wild, they're meaning that it's just transmitting all over the place.

Android (09:42)
It's in my backyard, actually. Yeah.

Neo (09:50)
And it's robust. Yeah. I love that.

Android (09:49)
Don't forget it's robust. It's doing a great job at it's robust. How do you describe

a sensory system as robust? Don't you use that description as, man, I had an amazing Zinfandel last night. The flavor was so robust.

Neo (10:04)
Woodsy.

Android (10:05)
Maybe that's a hint

that Gremlin is in a heavily wooded area.

Neo (10:09)
Why does it have to be in an undisclosed

what is it doing to just keep it secret where it

Android (10:15)
can't tell us where it is because then people will go there.

Neo (10:18)
are they gonna see? It's a fucking, it's a

Android (10:20)
Okay,

Neo (10:21)
I don't fucking think I'm going to go look at this gremlin satellite

That's

Android (10:27)
Sure, they could tour.

Neo (10:29)
so, what harm does that do for me to go see

How's that get in the way of

This is one of those government

expenditures that you know in years to come they're like we spent 17 billion dollars on gremlin and

it did nothing

Android (10:41)
We could have only spent eight on Kitty Cat.

Neo (10:43)
it's a weird interview and a weird way to tell us about Gremlin.

Android (10:47)
Well, to tell us about nothing.

Neo (10:49)
All right. What else you got?

Android (10:49)
it's Skynet

Okay, so I've got other sightings. I've got other sightings for you. This time we're the...

Neo (10:53)
you know what? like

there's a theme here. We've got a lot of the sightings news this week.

Android (10:57)
was reported on January 22nd,

So just recently,

Neo (11:01)
Okay.

Android (11:02)
mysterious UFO sightings puzzle California residents and authorities.

Neo (11:06)
Ooh,

California,

Android (11:09)
a series of perplexing events, multiple UFO sightings have been reported and recorded over several days across California, particularly in the Fresno

sightings have sparked a wave of curiosity and concern as both residents and authorities are left pondering the origins of these unidentified flying objects.

The string of sightings began with a mysterious light hovering over downtown Fresno in the early hours just past 4 a.m. Local news station Fox 26 captured the first sighting on camera, showing a light that appeared to move swiftly before coming to a stationary hover. Earl Gray Anderson, a field investigator for

MUFON, reviewed the footage.

Neo (11:54)
Mm-hmm.

Android (11:57)
and classified it as an unidentified flying object. So dude, they had a move on guy out there just say it is an unidentified flying

Neo (12:04)
Well,

Android (12:07)
OK.

Neo (12:06)
I have a question.

Gremlin didn't detect this?

happening?

Android (12:11)
no, Gremlin saw it.

Neo (12:12)
it's not.

Android (12:12)
They're just not telling us it saw

so busy just

all that information.

Neo (12:16)
Mm-hmm.

Android (12:17)
he didn't say that Gremlin is actually going to give us the information. He just says it's gathering the

And we have to wait to Gremlins 2 to come out.

Neo (12:22)
and then they probably...

epi- This is the first... Yeah.

Android (12:28)
2, all this stuff is going to be revealed. This is the first batch.

Neo (12:31)
1 only

Android (12:33)
Only gathers,

let's see what else it says here. It says the following

news photo journalist Anthony Guevara documented another UFO sighting, this time in the

The footage added to the mounting intrigue surrounding these mysterious occurrences. A few days later, private pilot,

reported seeing a white object trailing his

at an altitude of 3,500 feet over downtown Fresno. He's flying pretty low.

Neo (12:58)
Yeah.

Android (13:00)
Despite radioing the local airport tower for assistance, the pilot lost sight of the object shortly

So there is a video on X. Chris

Neo (13:07)
Okay.

Android (13:12)
a photo of this thing.

and it's there, you can watch the video if you'd like. But it says several Fresno residents have also come forward with similar reports describing their encounters with unidentified objects. The recent sightings have reignited public fascination with UFOs. So there it was what you were talking about earlier. Everybody's talking about UFOs all the time right

Neo (13:33)
seems to be a hotbed for UFO sighting. people are looking for them, but I honestly think this is just advanced drones.

Android (13:36)
Yeah.

Okay, so you have to go look at the footage because it is a circular object that's like moving and then it's gone like

Neo (13:49)
is unsettling is when they're, just, you know, these reports they're saying, you know, there's no explanation. So there's no explanation to me. Then you really should categorize it as

UFO. It's, it's a, it's a UFO until there is an explanation because it's

don't know what this is. So it could be alien in nature.

so what else?

Android (14:08)
I love Sting. I really do love Sting a

a thing that I found out about Sting. Sting's eager to learn the truth about UFOs and the origin of crop

Neo (14:17)
Mm.

But what?

Android (14:21)
one that mysteriously turned up on his property.

Neo (14:21)
Yeah.

where was his property?

Android (14:25)
his property is in

or he says he saw a UFO. Together with a friend who remains

Sting witnessed a UFO while on a skiing vacation in

And then the light sped away at super high speed.

a lot of talk about Sting having these

connections with the spiritual world because he's devoted practitioner of

he practices yoga all the time and apparently he's like a guru basically that he can

you know, take himself to other, you know, like another dimension kind

you know.

Neo (15:03)
more of an attraction

to him from the other

stuff is what he's saying because of his spirituality.

Android (15:07)
That's what he's, yeah, yeah. So,

yeah. So Sting's wife Trudy discovered the Crop Circle on the couple's estate in England

in the same area where most of the Crop Circle formations have appeared. In some cases, UFOs have been seen and photographed hovering above Crop Circle sites.

The video for Sting's song, I'm So Happy, from his Mercury Falling album, shows little dancing green aliens.

Neo (15:33)
never practiced yoga. I've taken some yoga classes.

I understand the spirituality connection with yoga.

it's interesting that he is

so connected

that, that that's why he's having these experiences.

Android (15:46)
also big in paranormal phenomenon as

he says he's actually seen an

It was quite something. I was terrified. I saw a woman and a child in my bedroom and my wife saw them too. We both woke up. At first, I thought it was her with one of our kids until I reached over and realized she was still in the bed with

they asked him at one time, they

would you like to be haunting people in your next

And Stinger

I would hope my music will do the haunting for

Neo (16:19)
It's very cute, Sting.

Android (16:20)
You've already beat up on the Irish today. Don't go after Sting.

That's looking for

Neo (16:23)
I'm not, not going to go near

Android (16:25)
looking for trouble.

Neo (16:25)
All right. Well, that's,

that's cool. I mean, good for staying.

Android (16:28)
I'm sure his chakras are all in alignment and all of that stuff by being a yoga master.

Neo (16:32)
yeah. He's probably got the straightest

chakras ever. Probably so connected, his chakras.

Okay. What else you

Android (16:39)
recommendations.

Neo (16:40)
yeah, let's go. What do we got? What do we got?

Android (16:42)
this one's so good. And this film, when it came

was overlooked by a lot of people. It did well, pretty well at the box

it was kind of like one of those movies that people were like,

an alien film, 2011. It's an action sci-fi film. Battle Los

Neo (16:59)
Okay.

My that's my number one. That's my number one

I have top threes. This is number one. This is my number one movie. I thought when this came out and I'm jumping ahead of you here a little bit, I thought it was the most realistic attempt at what would possibly happen if there was a large scale alien attack on

Android (17:21)
an invasion.

It stars Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez,

Ramon Rodriguez, and Michael

There's a little synopsis for many years humans have reported various UFO sightings around the world fueling speculation about the existence of life on other worlds

in 2011 mankind learns the truth the hard way when alien invaders

Neo (17:42)
you

Android (17:45)
One by one the world's greatest cities fall Leaving Los Angeles as the battleground

Neo (17:54)
You know, what's great about it is Aaron Eckhart's character, who's an army, army guy, big time. He, he's just days away from retiring. He's a sergeant. He's, and he's leaving. And then this alien invasion happens. And I guess there was an incident with him in a former battle where he lost all his guys. Um, and so he sort of had this black, uh, shadow following him on that.

Android (18:04)
Yeah, he's a Sergeant. Yeah, Staff Sergeant, actually. Yeah.

Neo (18:23)
but he ends up, you know, I, I don't, I mean, I don't, we're not giving any spoiler alerts. You gotta watch it because you, yeah, yeah, you don't lose yet, but you don't, you still want to see it. I, boy, there was a scene in this

Android (18:29)
It's 2011, come on, it's 14 years ago. If you haven't seen it by now.

Neo (18:37)
where they capture one of the aliens and you got to figure out how they're, they decide we got this alien. got to figure out how to kill them. We have to figure out where we, where do we shoot them? What do we do? So they're basically this

All of them are gathered around this guy that hold them down and they are tearing him apart and cutting him open and trying to find out where his heart is. And it is one of the best things you're just like, my God, but it totally makes sense. Everything they did in this made sense in terms of the mechanics of the UFO, the re the way they were going to, they had to figure out how to destroy them, the action and the urgency. was so you were just on the edge of your seat.

As it's get, you know, it's as it's all this is culminating and they're going through, know, trying to rescue this group of, of, of civilians and just the traveling through Los Angeles. It was so well done and well written. it was so believable. And that's what I'd like about a good alien movie is the, the, from the effects guys, you know, to, you know, to the alien, other worldly sort of guys who have to think about how, how does this evolve the story evolve?

you know, the writing is one thing, but then it's also connecting the writing to making us believe what we're seeing is plausible. And that to me is this movie. think, I think, about a Los Angeles really does a great job in terms of, that, and other alien movies should like follow suit with this because it was well

Android (19:54)
Right.

I love Erin Eckhart and Michelle

She's such a badass.

Neo (20:08)
you think that that's how it

will go down? If it is a violent, if it is a violent host hostile takeover that it would be, it would just become, or do you think that we don't even have a shot?

Android (20:17)
I don't think we even have a shot. I mean, think about it, dude. If these things are flying light years away, right, and coming here, and they're here like that, right, you don't think they have a kind of like Independence Day force field, you know? We're gonna pull up the ship from Roswell, and that happens to be that same particular alien that was here prior? Come on.

Neo (20:28)
Yeah.

Yeah, I think too, I agree with you. think at the speed they can move too, if their ships can move so fast and then there's, can't, you can't fight that unless you have something of equal value. There's no, there's no way to, to, to go after that, but a well done movie. Um, I just, I thought it was terrific.

Android (20:48)
No.

Right.

Yeah.

So

you give it two thumbs way up. It's a feel good film of the summer.

Neo (21:02)
those thumbs are way up there. Thumbs are so high up there. yeah.

Android (21:05)
Can I see him? Can you give us a thumbs up?

There you go. We got two thumbs up from Neal.

Would you say that I know you pretty well because I picked that film knowing it was your favorite

Neo (21:16)
I think you cheated a little because we talked about that months ago. I think and I you and you waited till I forgot that we talked about it and then you brought that

Android (21:23)
bright,

Neo (21:24)
yes I'm really glad you actually talked about that movie because it is a great movie like I do

Android (21:28)
It's a good film.

Neo (21:29)
I do want to I want to see it

Android (21:31)
on Netflix. You can watch it on Netflix.

Neo (21:32)
It's happening right after this podcast recording going in there. I'm going to get in my pajamas. I'm going to lay on my couch. I'm going to eat peanut butter sandwiches and I'm putting

Android (21:35)
I'm watching it right now.

Neo (21:42)
is that all you got?

Android (21:43)
That's it, baby.

Neo (21:44)
Well, that's the latest from Andrew in the world of us. So UFO gossip and the extraterrestrial buzz. And now I think it's time Andrew to get into our featured.

story. Here's how it works

Android (21:56)
I'm so excited.

Neo (21:57)
I'm going to tell the full account of a reported alien

exactly as it was documented. Then Andrew and I are going to break it down piece by piece and decide if we think it's mostly true or mostly just a great story. And of course we would love to hear from our listeners and you got to drop your take into the comments. Let us know if you are convinced or not. And while you're at

why don't you follow us subscribe.

and share the show with your friends. If you like it, your friends are gonna like it because the truth is always more fun when you're not alone. Am I

Android (22:29)
You're not

Neo (22:30)
Okay, let's do it. It was a quiet

May 10th, 1978 in Emilsyn, Poland.

a small, sleepy village of Emilsyn. It's nestled in the Polish countryside. It's just like any

spot in Eastern Europe. It's simple, quiet, it's untouched by the modern world.

They got fields that stretched out under the spring morning sun. The air is crisp. The sky was that pale blue that promised a day of honest.

And on this day, Jan Wolski, he's a 71 year old farmer. He's no stranger to hard work. His life was one of routine labor and

He's a man known for his integrity and calm demeanor. He was respected in the village, which made what happened to him. So

It's around 8 AM when Jan set out with his horse drawn

finish some chores on the outskirts of Emilsen.

The roads were rough and uneven with birds singing from the treetops and wildflowers growing along the path. But as he approached a wooded area, he noticed something strange up ahead. Two figures were standing in the middle of his

His first thought was that they were villagers or perhaps just lost travelers. But as his cart drew closer, Jan realized these beings were nothing like anyone he had ever seen before.

The two human-like figures stood side by side. were motionless and they're staring directly at him. They were short. They were only about five feet tall and they're covered in tight dark green suits. They looked almost organic in nature.

Android (24:09)
like the suits.

Neo (24:10)
I know you

tight and dark green gets me every

cat. Yeah.

Android (24:24)
kitty cat theme, I love it.

Neo (24:26)
Yon noticed that their hands had only three

thick fingers and they had no visible ears or noses, just small slits where the mouth might

We've heard that

Their move, their move. Yeah. It's a little good old slit mouth alien.

Android (24:36)
Mouth, they call it Slip Mouth.

Neo (24:40)
Their, uh, their movements were peculiar, uh, stiff yet deliberate as if they were unfamiliar with how to use their bodies. That's an interesting take. Like they, they just, they think that

Android (24:52)
So what'd they do with the robot?

Were they like?

Neo (24:54)
Well, it almost sounds like they were like, we should take the form of a human. This is what we think the human looks like. And then they're in it and it's just very uncomfortable for them.

Android (24:57)
Walking.

And they're like, we are walking for the first time.

Neo (25:07)
do all aliens sound like this?

okay. So one of the beings made a beckoning gesture like signaling for Jan to approach.

Yeah, but against every rational instinct, he did. Jan, Jan approached him. That was easy. Maybe it was curiosity. Maybe it was the odd calmness that seemed to settle over him. A sense of peace.

Android (25:17)
Come closer.

Neo (25:34)
rather than fear. he wasn't afraid. He was, he was inquisitive in a sense. Um, so that, I guess, I mean, if you see aliens doing this to you, or are you going to be like, okay, I'm coming just a second. Let me just grab my bottle of water and put the cart over on the side of the road. I'll be right

Android (25:40)
Okay, okay.

Neo (25:54)
don't think so. I don't

Anyway, as Yon neared the B as, as he got closer to the beings, they motioned

toward a clearing. now they waving him over. So he follows them. Then they, they, they point over towards a clearing, you know, down the road, I guess. And that's when he sees this strange white barrel shaped object. It was just hovering about three feet off the ground. It's the, it's the aliens trailer, the aliens. And they're like, yeah, yeah, they're dropping candy and he's just following. He's just like, come on in the trailer.

Android (26:18)
trailer they had a trailer these are white trash white trash

Wait, can I

ask something? What's the horse doing during this time? The horse is

Neo (26:34)
no reports about the horse, I guess the horse was just calm.

Android (26:37)
they were if the horse if it freaked the horse out there's no way he would have been able to take his horse strong carriage over there

go ahead sorry

Neo (26:44)
probably just

left it there. I mean, he's familiar with the path, the horses too. I don't think it's unfamiliar grounds, right? And I think maybe he'd...

Android (26:50)
But the

two aliens didn't freak the horse out and he felt calm.

Neo (26:55)
Well, the aliens were just standing there and it just went like this. They were just motioning. It's not like they were going, yah, yah!

Android (27:02)
Did they go,

were they like, bring it on back? Bring it here. All right.

Neo (27:05)
Yeah, but I just it's

funny to me picturing a 71 year old

his horse drawn carriage and these two aliens

in the middle road and he doesn't ask a fucking question. He's just and they just are just look at him and go like this and they just, you know, motion for him to follow them. And he's just like, okay. I mean, I wonder what this kid was like when he's growing

Like his parents probably were like, you cannot get into another stranger's car. Yon.

Do not do that,

stranger's car you've gotten into.

Android (27:34)
like to go in cars with people.

They have puppies and candy and ice cream. I love ice cream.

Neo (27:39)
Yeah.

right. So they motion towards this

and then Jan sees this strange white barrel shaped object. It's hovering about three feet off the ground. had no visible windows or seams, just a smooth rounded surface

extensions resembling pipes is how he explained it in the

So to his surprise, a small platform. Now, now he's even more surprised to his surprise.

Android (28:05)
So the green skinned almond slit mouth beckoning him over, that's nothing. But this, I've never seen anything like this before. That's my favorite line. I've never seen anything like this before.

Neo (28:09)
Yeah. Yep.

That was nothing compared to this my gosh, John Mm-hmm Yeah,

all right exactly a small platform extends from the craft and it forms a sort of ramp leading to an opening obviously into the ship and the beings again motion for him to climb a

So here they are. just, this is, they're probably thinking, they're probably looking at each other going, this is the easiest fricking abduction we've ever had in our life. I don't have to use any floating powers or mind control.

Android (28:44)
Wait, this was 78,

right?

Neo (28:49)
71. Oh, in 1978. Yeah, but he was 71 years old at the time.

Android (28:51)
07. He was 71.

Did he hear?

Exciting and new. Come aboard. They're expecting you.

Neo (28:59)
I wonder if he thought he was having a stroke.

Well listen, so the beings and they motion him to climb

Android (29:09)
Yeah.

Neo (29:12)
and now he's feeling more curious than afraid. So I guess he was a little afraid, but now he's feeling more curious. So Yon

like, yeah, what the shit I'll, I'll go on.

I mean I it's it's odd. I mean I don't know I guess that maybe this guy was just you know not afraid of much but he was he was more curious than afraid. It sounds like

Peter Sellers is in this stars in this movie called being there. And he just basically stumbles through life. He's a Gardner Chauncey Gardner. And he goes and, just one stupid event happens to the next. And he is uneducated. He's not very bright. And you know, one way or another becomes the president of United States. Maybe this is how it goes down for Jan You know, it just, he's like, okay, I like my horse.

Android (29:56)
He's going to be president

of the the Alien Association. Like we've been watching you. You're just an idiot. We want you to be our president.

Neo (29:59)
Yeah, I'm just going to follow.

so Jan does, as he's directed, he gets into the

easiest alien abduction ever. And inside the craft, it was dimly lit with a soft green glow. It emanated from the walls. That sounds cool. There was no apparent control panels, just a series of rounded compartments and a faint.

through the air

he says the air smelled faintly of ozone and metal. What's ozone smell?

Android (30:31)
I mean the ozone layer, that's a layer of the atmosphere. I'm not sure what it smells like.

Neo (30:34)
Sure,

there's an ozone in metal. That's how he reported

once he's in, he's in the craft. as Jan's eyes adjust to being in there, he saw four more beings inside. So these two guys waved them in, he gets in, there's four more in

now they're all doing this. This is what they do. All six of them are just like this.

Android (30:52)
at a bit.

Neo (30:57)
just waving their arms and then Jan's like okay and

then so that's

Android (31:01)
he starts doing it.

Neo (31:03)
were all identical to the ones who had led him in to the

and then all the aliens high five like yeah dude we got another old

that's not in the report okay they were so the aliens the these guys were arranging small objects on a table seemingly uninterested in Jan's presence

Jan

Android (31:22)
They weren't that excited it was there.

Neo (31:25)
I guess not. just had their, they had their job to do to get it done in time for Jan.

So Jan also noticed several bird-like creatures. They were dead and lying motionless on a nearby platform.

that point, I'd be thinking if I were Jan,

Why the fuck did I just follow these aliens into the ship?

Android (31:43)
I'm dead. Did I get it?

Neo (31:46)
just do that?

Android (31:46)
like there

are dead beds over

Neo (31:48)
Yand like, oopsie doodle, I shouldn't have done this.

As he says, Jan says it looked like they were being examined or prepared for something.

Android (31:59)
Dinner?

Neo (31:59)
I just don't understand it. Why the, why the aliens would have dead birds in their

beings motioned for him to undress. Now they're like, got him this far and he's doing everything we ask without putting up a fight. Maybe we can get yonder undress.

Android (32:16)
So they're giving them the undress. Is this the undress signal?

Neo (32:18)
Yeah. Yeah, that's right. They're

all like, yeah, undress, undress. And then they're all, and then all six.

Android (32:23)
And he's like, I think I

will undress.

Neo (32:28)
I don't...

Android (32:28)
aliens,

are very kind to me. They are so nice. They have prepared some dinner with birds for me and I will get naked for them. And I will roll around in the birds because this is what they do. I will cover myself in feathers and I will be a big bird because they have brought me as their leader.

Neo (32:31)
They got dead birds on the floor. There's dead birds.

He seemed very nice.

Meanwhile, the aliens are all taking their pants off.

Android (32:53)
They're getting out of their tight suits.

Neo (32:53)
Yeah.

Yeah. This is happening. This is happening, everyone. Get together.

Android (32:59)
They're all excited. The aliens are just like,

we got one and this guy's on live wire. He's a party animal.

Neo (33:09)
He said this.

Android (33:10)
We just killed all those birds by fucking them now we've got an old band. We're gonna be really excited about that

Neo (33:16)
you

Android (33:20)
Yeah, see they didn't say that the story.

Neo (33:23)
They're like, oh, you guys want to go to a milson and see if we get old man in our ship

Android (33:28)
like hell yeah Fred you go just wave him on and I bet you this guy'll just he'll just come on board

Neo (33:35)
That was...

Those villagers in a mills that are so easy.

Android (33:43)
They, we had six last weekend here. We still haven't cleaned up all the dead birds from before. We got to do that.

Neo (33:50)
Alright,

so the beings they're now motioning Jan to undress and he actually did hesitate to do so and when he didn't comply they didn't insist Instead one of the beings produced a strange object resembling a handheld scanner Which they just passed over his body several times emitting a faint hum and soft click

Android (34:17)
I have never seen anything like this. I would like to experience it. So then he took his clothes off.

Neo (34:23)
So now, so now you, Yon, Yon is trying to speak to them, but they didn't respond and their focus just remained on their tasks as if he were just another specimen to the catalog. think at this point I would be a little concerned because there are dead birds and they're not responding to him. I would be like regretting. Why did I follow them in here at this point? I'd be a little

what felt like minutes, according to him, but could have been longer.

The beings then motion for him to leave. this is all that really happened on the ship, according to

And Jan just walked back down the platform and looked over his shoulder. And then the craft began to rise. It just drifted slowly upward before it zipped off into the sky at incredible speeds and it left behind no trace of its presence.

hurries home to his family and he tells his wife and sons what had happened, but they were very understandably

Android (35:25)
They did not have sex with you?

Neo (35:26)
Where's the horse?

So despite the initial disbelief word quickly spread around the village and soon local authorities were notified and the police conducted interviews and even examined the clearing where Jan claimed the craft had landed. They found strange impressions in the ground as if something heavy had been hovering over the

And the Polish Academy of Sciences then took an interest in the case and sent a UFO investigator by the name

big new Blania Bolnar.

Android (35:54)
yeah, Dr. Blarnia Bolnar.

Neo (35:55)
Mm-hmm.

he came and interviewed Jan and examined the site. And Blania Bolinar was known for debunking UFO reports. That was his whole thing. But in this case, he found Jan's testimony highly

I wonder what made him think it was highly

Anyway, Jan,

the rights to his book.

Yon Wolski was subjected to extensive questioning and was even asked to undergo hypnosis, but his story just remained consistent. He seemed genuinely bewildered by the experience, never trying to profit or gain attention. In the aftermath, of course skeptics, they immediately argued that Yon might've hallucinated the encounter, I guess, because of his age or misinterpreted natural phenomena. I'm not sure what that means. If you misinterpret natural phenomena.

Aliens waving to you bringing you onto a ship

Android (36:42)
A

floating trailer in the sky is natural phenomenon. I see this all the time in Poland.

Neo (36:48)
Exactly. Yeah,

dead birds, you know, all of this.

Android (36:52)
Yes, the

birds are always dead by the trailer. It happens all the time in Poland. Discredit. Discredit, Wolski, his name is. He's an idiot. Yon. Who cares?

Neo (36:57)
That's Did you misinterpret it?

the other claim they made was that the beings could have been local pranksters in costumes or that Yon might've dozed off and dreamed the whole

Yon didn't get upset about those claims. He just calmed the meter and consistent story made

to dismiss his claims.

And those who knew him well, vouch for his honesty and

a great story. in 2005, decades after this incident, the small town of Emilsen erected a Memorial at that

the event. the plaque actually

The truth will still astonish us.

Android (37:46)
you see what it looks like? Have you seen a picture of

Neo (37:48)
I have not.

Android (37:48)
it's cool. It's got like a cube on

Yeah, it's about seven or eight feet tall. It's like bronze. It's kind of cool looking. It's the only thing that's in a millstone. You can drive through the town and then you're done.

Neo (37:50)
Really?

Mm. Mm.

You're done.

The site has since become a local tourist attraction. People come all from all over the all over Poland to ponder the

Similar cases. There's not there's no other alien abduction. You know, we always talk about what really kind of happened around the time or you know, if there was anything related to it. There were no other alien abduction cases in Poland that have mirrored Jan's experience. A wave of UFO sightings occurred in Eastern Europe.

Throughout the late 70s and early 80s the Soviet Union also reported increased sightings and strange encounters though many of the of these were suppressed or dismissed as mass

this day, there's no definitive evidence,

that can prove or disprove Jan's story. skeptics maintain it was a fabrication or hallucination while believers consider it was, it is one of Eastern Europe's most credible UFO

that is this story and now I'm going to pass it

Andrew and we are going to

decipher whether we think this is a mostly true alien story or not

Android (39:25)
I found some fascinating things. They spoke to people in the village about Jan, and although he was a upstanding citizen in the town, a lot of people questioned his mental awareness, and apparently he liked to drink a lot.

could be the possibility that Jan was drunk.

Neo (39:44)
Mm-hmm.

Android (39:45)
And this

did speak to other villagers as well, asking them. Some people said that they saw, had seen strange lights in the sky nights prior to this whole thing happening with

nothing was verified. So this is what I found to be the most interesting dirt that I dug up.

Neo (40:04)
This is the kind of dirt that

will sway you one way or another. Okay.

Android (40:08)
Yes, for sure, for sure.

So Dr. Blarnia Bolnar, who was the ufologist that you said came and did the investigation and believed Jan as the as a truth teller about this alien

Neo (40:14)
Mm-hmm.

Android (40:25)
in the UFO

is not seen as a credible source,

Neo (40:30)
even as a debunker, he's there. He's not considered.

Android (40:33)
Yeah, even as a debunker, even as a debunker.

He wasn't seen as one of the best guys to do it. Apparently the guy that everybody wanted to do the storytelling was, we told Warsanek and the two, according to Lech Stefanski, had this bitter

Neo (40:54)
Mm-hmm.

wait, there was a there was a there was debunker rivalries. Wow.

Android (41:00)
Debunker rivalries. Yeah. Yeah,

this is crazy. This is where it gets crazy now.

Lev Stevinsky is a hypnotist who reported this, and he hypnotized Warzoneck.

Neo (41:12)
wait a minute, who's Warzennik?

Android (41:14)
Warzoneck is the rival. We told Warzoneck is the rival to

both are UFO specialists, and they both are battling to be the best debunker or the best truth-teller, right? Okay?

Neo (41:19)
I got you. I got you.

Okay, okay, but this

has nothing to do with Yon right now. This is just something that... Okay, gotcha. Uh-huh.

Android (41:28)
Right now, this is just between these two guys, right? Okay. So

Warsanek came out and said, it's not true, it's a

And Bolnar said, no, it is

Jan's story is

Warsanek says it never

there was

wager that was

because you know, a lot of people that are abducted, do

Warzanek believed that during hypnosis, you couldn't make people believe stuff that wasn't

And Bolnar said, yes, you can. You can make people believe stuff that wasn't true. So this guy, Lick Stefanski came in.

Neo (41:56)
Yeah.

Okay.

Android (42:02)
and he hypnotized

He made him produce false memories that never happened. So when Warzanek came out of the hypnosis, he was telling people, my God, this happened to me. Isn't that weird? He was able to do that. You he said the word like, it's freaking, yeah, he made him produce false memories and it

Neo (42:05)
Peace.

It's scary.

Android (42:22)
So what happened was Warzanek got really pissed at Bouldar

was right.

And so it created even more rivalry between the two of them. So Warzonek has produced several books in Poland about UFOs. And so this bitter rivalry between the two of them really started digging their claws into Porjan. And so they were just like beating up the story on both sides. And since then, Warzonek, he swore to get payback against Bolnar. I will get you.

Neo (42:37)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

Okay.

Android (42:56)
You will

don't know.

Neo (42:58)
We are going to fight to the death.

Android (42:59)
You will see that I'm coming for you, Bono.

going to kill you like those

fucking you to death.

Neo (43:11)
who references Yon's experience specifically.

Android (43:15)
As his own, those were the false memories that he put into his head. Okay,

are going to say that you fucked a bunch of birds and they are

Neo (43:25)
of your tiny dick

Android (43:26)
birds! I killed them all by fucking them!

Neo (43:27)
Like...

Android (43:30)
Just

like those aliens. So crazy. So he wrote a book.

Neo (43:35)
Alright, so what

are you saying about this then?

Android (43:38)
Okay, what I'm saying is this, I just thought it was interesting that because you brought up ball art, and I knew that you would because it was part of the story and all of that that there was this rivalry between why can't everybody just like chill and like work together and you know, but no.

Neo (43:43)
Mm-hmm.

Yeah.

What was

bolnars bolnar his statement about Jan being credible? That's part of this battle, though.

Android (44:02)
No, what it is is that Boulnar is not a credible ufologist according to what people are saying. Not just Warzonek. A lot of the UFO people don't believe Boulnar. They think he's out for money. They think that he fabricates stories. He makes things more elaborate than what they are. So he's not seen as a credible resource. And so when this happened, Warzonek heard this and he's like, well, I'm going to prove to you that it's true because I'm saying it's not because I'm the credible guy.

Neo (44:06)
Well, that's what you're trying to do.

Okay.

Hmm. Okay. That's interesting.

Yeah. Yeah.

Android (44:33)
And

then Bolnart said, well, I'll show you, I'll hypnotize you and make you think that you did all these things. And it worked. And he was so pissed that he was able to do that. So, Wardsenek did not believe that, that Jan had been taken. Bolnart says that Jan was

Neo (44:38)
Right. Right.

Andrew, do you think this is a mostly true alien story or not?

Android (44:50)
No,

no, I don't. I don't think it's mostly true at all. think Jan, either Jan was drunk or he was like hallucinating at 71, riding his horse and carriage out to the thing. mean, seriously, come on, man. Like they beckon you over and you're just like, yeah, okay, I'll go. And then it didn't make any sense. They told him to take his clothes off. Then they used the scanner thing and then they just said bye. I mean, what was the purpose of the whole thing? Nor is no other people that saw it.

Neo (45:08)
Yeah. Yeah. Okay.

Android (45:21)
Nobody else saw it. Yeah, but come on, everybody knew Yawn.

Neo (45:21)
Well, there's a very desolate village area and he's

Android (45:27)
And Jan's family didn't, weren't like, wow, he hasn't come back for a while. I wonder where he is. you know, Papa, he's with the aliens.

Neo (45:41)
Alright, so Andrew does not think this is a Mostly True Aliens story. I am-

Android (45:44)
No, I think it's Mad Dog

Mad Dog 2020 is what I

Neo (45:48)
right. So let me, let me weigh in

here's where it goes off the rails for me a little bit is,

I can take the whole aliens appearing and bringing them on the ship kind of

it goes off the rails for me is just from what we've stories we've told, they're not just beckoning to you to come on.

I think it was more of a fantasy for him. The other thing is that when you go home

to your

if they're questioning you,

a

if I came home today and I said to my family, I was abducted by aliens guys. I'm fucking freaked out about it. They wouldn't question me at all. They wouldn't question it. They would dive more into the story. They would ask more. They would really get into

would be support. There would be all this stuff. If his family's initial reaction was just like,

we don't believe you.

he's, I'm thinking that he was sort of on that tail end of maybe mental decline, but maybe he did drink a lot. Um, the, it's just the actions of the aliens.

And then the reaction of his family to me where this is

do not think this is a mostly true alien story at all. Yeah, I don't.

He probably had too much to drink or that with a combination of maybe a little aging mental decline. And I'm not saying 71 is old.

You know what? And I liked that he had that fantasy. Maybe that was nice for him. Maybe it was more comforting,

But I definitely do not think that this was a mostly true alien story. So it is not in.

doesn't go into my file as a true story.

Android (47:20)
Okay, so then we need to go to Poland and tear that monument down.

Neo (47:23)
Well, so good for a milson,

know, for deciding to take that on. And I wonder why decades later they decided to do that,

Android (47:27)
This is lies.

Neo (47:32)
it all comes down to tourism. It all comes down to

I think they can do more with

love to see that ship built out on there, you know, and, know, maybe a replica of Jan and, the aliens, you know, waving, you know, just waving to him to come into the ship. I think that's a good
