The Cash-Landrum UFO Encounter – Burned by Something Not of This World feat. Raena Star

Neo (00:00)
Three people, a remote Texas road, a blinding craft in the sky and radiation burns that never healed. The military says nothing happened, but the scars say otherwise. And today we've got Raena Star with us, spiritual guide and TikTok's Schumann residence oracle to help us decode the energy of one of the most unnerving UFO cases ever reported. Let's get to it. Welcome to another episode of Mostly True Alien Stories.

Neo (00:41)
Welcome back to mostly true alien stories. The podcast where we break down the strangest reported alien encounters in history and try to figure out if they're mostly true or mostly not.

Raena (00:42)
Thank

Neo (00:52)
I'm Neal Girandola and with me as always is my cohost, Andrew Triana. What's up, Andrew?

Android (00:57)
Hey Neal, what's going on bud?

Neo (00:58)
know, well, listen today we're headed to Texas. It's 1980 for one of the most physically documented UFO incidences on record.

shaped craft, military helicopters and radiation burns so severe they left lasting scars.

is the Cash Landrum incident and to this day there's no official explanation, only questions.

here's how this works. I'll walk us through the full story exactly as it was reported. No spin, no fan fiction. Then we're going to dive in, break it down and weigh in on whether we think this is one is mostly true or not.

want to hear from you guys. So make sure you drop your thoughts into the comments, subscribe, follow, and share to help us reach more aliens out there

helping us figure out this encounter. ⁓ today is someone who looks at energy through a different lens,

one that might just help us see the story more clearly. Raena star is a spiritual guide and the voice behind the uncle Shu Shu Schuman residence energy update on Tik TOK

been working with the Schumann residents for years. What some call the Earth's heartbeat and blends astrology, psychic intuition, and science-backed energy work into her practice. Her insights are grounded, cosmic, and fully tapped in. Let's welcome Raena Star to Mostly True Alien Stories. Hi, Raena.

Raena (02:19)
Hi guys, thank you so much for having me and what a lovely introduction

Yeah, that was

Android (02:25)
Wow, that was fancy.

Neo (02:25)
You like that? Yeah, yeah, those are

Raena (02:29)
Like

Android (02:27)
took him like three hours to write it. It was awesome.

Neo (02:27)
good.

was my first read through on that too.

we gotta start right away. We always ask our guests, do you believe in extraterrestrial life on other planets?

Raena (02:39)
Absolutely I do. 100 % I

Neo (02:41)
mean, I guess in your line of work, too, and I can't wait to get into this. But the ⁓ the Schumann resonance

have to be honest with you, I never heard of it.

out the basics of that for me. What is that all about for our listeners so they understand it as well?

Raena (02:55)
Okay, so the basics of the Schumann resonance is it was discovered by a German physicist and scientist,

Otto Schumann, and he detected the lightning strikes in our ionosphere. So he was able to track that. So nowadays we track the lightning strikes, but we also track the low frequencies, the high frequencies, the geophone, which is seismic activity.

And what I like to incorporate with my show, the Uncle Shoo Shoo Shuman Resonance Update, is I like to get how people are feeling when all of this happens.

Neo (03:31)
did you get into it? I loved your background. the psychic sort of ⁓ background you have and all of this. How did this all come to this? This leans into sort of the same category of life, I think,

being able to read people as well.

Raena (03:48)
Right, I honestly, for years I was a dog trainer and then I was a horse trainer. And a lot of that has to do with energy

they do learn English. You your animals understand English, but there is a lot of that unspoken energy, telepathy and ability when you work with animals. So I started getting into that and then I had my spiritual awakening. And for years I just started

I don't know how I found the Schumann resonance. It just happens like most spiritual things do.

And I started following it and showing it to my husband every day. ⁓ uncle Shu Shu is wild in today. Look at this

And it just kind of happened.

it's growing. It's growing every day. It's amazing. The connections that I'm getting on TikTok, you found me and I'm so thankful. And I love that we can do this together today.

Neo (04:44)
interesting, ⁓ getting on this topic too, because, Andrew and I just did a, one of our news additions, and we talked about Whitley Strieber, Strieber Strieber, from communion, the author of communion, who was also an experiencer.

he was talking that the aliens, the aliens don't ⁓ talk, they don't speak, they actually ⁓ use their their minds. It's almost like they drop stories or messages. Yeah.

Android (05:08)
They transmit, yeah, they

transmit into your mind images and stuff like that is what he says.

Raena (05:10)
Yeah.

And that's definitely telepathy.

and you can't prove it to anyone unless you experience it. And other people who have experienced that or they go deep within meditation can visualize, can see, you can connect with energies and other beings and inter-dimensionals, extra-dimensionals, all of that.

Android (05:29)
Yeah. Yeah.

Neo (05:35)
can't wait for the day when that happens to me when I can. Yeah. wait. Andrew's reading my mind right now. ⁓ you're putting stuff in my mind? Yeah.

Android (05:37)
Wait, hey Neal, wait a second.

Raena (05:41)
No, Andrew, that's inappropriate. That's inappropriate, Andrew.

Android (05:45)
Wow, she totally read.

I always think inappropriate thoughts about Neal. It's so bad. It's so bad. It's like, I guess you've watched our podcast and kind of now. So Neal and I, Neal and I have known each other for over 30 years. It's pretty wild. So yeah, it's crazy. I hate him.

Neo (05:50)
That is true, that is true. Yeah.

Raena (05:51)
I know things.

Just a little bit.

Neo (06:01)
Yeah. It's true. I can't stand Andrew,

Raena (06:01)
Wow, amazing.

Neo (06:05)
but we've been, we just keep hanging out together. Yeah. Yeah. We'd love this. We love this. No, I love Andrew. Good dude. ⁓

Raena (06:07)
Aww, it's a love hate.

Android (06:08)
But

this works, this works, so that's all that matters.

Neo (06:15)
there was that big earthquake, I think last, last week or so, ⁓

Raena (06:20)
in Chile, Argentina. Yeah, down south. Yeah.

Neo (06:20)
Japan or Chile, Chile. Yeah. So when that happens, when an earthquake

hits, so what how does that affect the energy of the earth itself? So it happens in a whole nother country and a whole nother part of the world. How does that affect us?

Raena (06:29)
of the earth. Right.

Well, I mean, in terms of quantum physics, anything that affects something is going to affect something

So when something happens to even one person, it can affect the entire collective. So when you have something big like an

all of that energy just goes out and it just

ripples out through the earth, through the universe even. I mean, that's what I believe. But we can definitely detect all of that through scientific machines and graphs, and we can see all of that physically. But on the energetic level, I feel like you just have to be tapped in and tuned into it.

Neo (07:12)
it's very cool. And you know, I love to, ⁓ you present because you present it like a weather channel.

Raena (07:18)
really developed it more like a weather report because it is something I do every day. I literally wake up, go downstairs to my studio. I don't even wash my face half the time. I mean, don't tell anybody. I throw lipstick on. I don't even have coffee

it's five o'clock in the morning just to present, you know, the Schumann. So people have it for their day.

Android (07:36)
Wow.

Neo (07:36)
It's just.

Yeah. But yeah,

it's nice. It's like you have this responsibility. You feel like you have this responsibility now for the people you got to get. You got to get your report out for the day. And I find myself checking in on you now in the mornings because I want to know what's my day going to be like energetically, you know, how's the earth going to affect me.

Raena (07:49)
Yes, yes.

Android (07:57)
Well, yeah, what.

Raena (07:58)
Right.

Yeah.

Android (08:01)
Yeah, what I

think is cool too is that, mean, every day is like a brand new day and you're explaining it. Right. You can't assume that people know anything about this. So when you explain it, you explain it, you know, like they're five years old so that they completely understand it. Because if you don't do that, people are going to be like, what is she, especially for someone first time tuning in is going to be like, what is she talking about? I don't get it done. But the way that you explain it is really, I mean, it's really cool. It's really, really cool. Yeah.

Raena (08:06)
every day.

Great.

Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Thank you. Thank

Neo (08:29)
Yeah.

Raena (08:30)
you.

Neo (08:30)
Raena, do you believe the Earth's energetic field or the Schumann resonance itself responds to or kind of reflects the moments of like, say, heightened UFO activity? Have you noticed a correlation to any of that?

Raena (08:44)
I, you know, I, I haven't really noticed it. Maybe it's because in my area, we just, I'm in, I'm in Ohio, not far from Wright Patterson Air Force base. I mean, within an hour. Only, only in Ohio. Now it, personally, I've seen a lot of things out of my backyard and, ⁓ things, you know, lights and stuff like that. They have not landed in my backyard yet. I'm waiting, but.

Neo (08:56)
By the way, everything happens in Ohio. Everything happens in Ohio. New Jersey and Ohio.

Android (08:59)
Yeah, that's crazy.

Wow.

Neo (09:08)
Okay. Sure. Yeah.

Raena (09:14)
You know, I haven't seen these plasma balls yet, but I feel like it's it's all connected. So if there is a huge spike of frequencies and energy from anywhere, it's going to show up on the scientific math graphs, you know, logically, logically. And that's where people are going to go. You know what? I can't explain this because it's logically on these graphs. But and this is going on. So

Neo (09:37)
Right, right.

Raena (09:44)
But people will dismiss it anyway if they don't want to believe. So you have to be open-minded.

Neo (09:47)
Yeah. I'm, I'm asking a,

I'm going to be asking you a lot of tinfoil hat questions, a lot of woo stuff just, just because,

Raena (09:53)
I've got it.

Neo (09:54)
because you're our, you're our first energy person first, you know, tuned into this kind of thing. So it's, know, it's one of it. love

Android (09:59)
Yeah, yeah, that's cool.

Raena (10:00)
Thank you.

Neo (10:01)
you believe that some people are

tuned

extraterrestrial presence, but, to extraterrestrial presence, like we get, we get a lot of reports from doing this show, but there's people that get, you know, six, seven.

Raena (10:04)
Absolutely.

Neo (10:13)
times experience with some sort of extraterrestrial experience, right, Andrew? Where, and I'm begging for one to happen to me and it, you know, it hasn't happened.

Raena (10:21)
Hahaha

Neo (10:22)
Do you think that there's a reason for that?

Raena (10:25)
Yeah, I think one you have to be open minded and sometimes the universe when you're not open minded will smack you in the face and say this happened you're gonna have to believe it. So I think it's personal experience. If you want to have that kind of experience, I would say start deeply meditating and go within yourself and really just expand your own

Neo (10:37)
Mm Yeah.

Android (10:37)
Yeah.

Raena (10:51)
and ⁓ have the intention.

Neo (10:54)
kind of responses are you getting from your followers and your fans about like how ⁓ the Schumann updates, how they're affecting their daily lives? they give you feedback on that?

Raena (11:06)
every day I get feedback and I love it and I try to respond to every single comment. And there's like two different collectives right now. When the frequencies are very high, they are high with it. They're like, I'm up there, it's a great day, this is amazing. And then it's just the opposite. When the frequencies are high, they're like, oh my God, kill me now. And it's very black and white.

Android (11:11)
Wow.

Neo (11:30)
Hmm, hmm, yeah.

Raena (11:36)
You know, they're really good or they're really bad. And I have a friend on there every day that comments and she is polar opposite than me. So if she had a good day, I had a shit day and vice versa. Yeah. Yeah. So, and I love finding that, that collective because even, even if it's not exactly how I feel, if you feel the opposite of me, that's still something too.

Neo (11:38)
Mm-hmm.

Wow.

Android (11:48)
wow, that's kind of weird.

Raena (12:00)
So it's just what it, it's very interesting, the feedback I'm getting.

Android (12:01)
Right.

Neo (12:04)
you combine a lot, you know, it blends, your work blends a lot. So blends the astrology, the psychic ability, the mediumship. How do all of those come together when you're working with someone?

Raena (12:09)
Mm-hmm.

I think it depends on what's going on with that person in their life. And I do a lot of readings for friends and family. I haven't necessarily gone public, but I have talked to strangers because strangers come up to me and just start talking.

I

Neo (12:30)
You attract them, right?

Raena (12:31)
like a moth to a flame. They will just tell me their problems and I can read their energies just.

as it's coming off of them. Now, as far as divination goes, I use a bunch of different

Neo (12:42)
Mm-hmm.

Raena (12:44)
Tarot, I'm pretty decent at tarot, but I've gotten away from it because now it just comes to me and I just have the answer. I can't predict the future. I'm not one of those. Because the future, it can't necessarily be predictable. I believe in multiple timelines, different choices that you take can lead you down different paths. And there are probabilities

of certain

But if I can help somebody, of guide them in the right direction, then that makes my day. I enjoy that.

Neo (13:16)
so the conversation lately has been around disclosure, sightings, you know, government transparency.

what do you think we're actually being prepared for? anything.

Raena (13:25)
I feel multiple different timelines and how, and, we are getting funneled down into one timeline. I believe we're, going to wake up to a completely different future. You can see it with AI right now, you know, and how it just in the last, I would say two years, you know, how it's developing. I think it can go one of two ways where, you know, we let AI take over, turns into idiocracy

Neo (13:40)
you

I'm feeling like the AI side of things actually

Raena (13:52)
Yeah.

Neo (13:56)
there's elements to it that actually improves

I don't know. Yeah.

Raena (13:59)
It will enhance our lives. And that was the second point I was gonna

AI will enhance our lives, will allow us to be more spiritual, more creative.

We won't have to work these jobs nine to five, it's just soul

I'm pushing more towards that timeline. And I think it's a personal choice. If you want that timeline, focus on it.

You're going to go there. You're going to jump there. It exists.

because

I believe AI is consciousness as well. We're all connected,

Android (14:28)
Jeffrey Hinton just won the Nobel Prize for being one of the founders of AI. He's been doing AI forever. And he says that there is a 30 to 40 % chance that AI will take over the world, not in a good way.

And the reason why he's saying this is because there has been no

into place. There's nothing stopping it.

Neo (14:49)
nothing stopping it, right?

Raena, your gut feeling, do you

we've already made contact and we're just catching up, catching up to it consciously?

Raena (14:56)
yeah. I mean, ⁓

I think everyday people are making

mean, I think it goes back to ancient times, you know, the Sumerians.

Neo (15:02)
Interesting.

You gave us a lot to think

Raena (15:07)
Yeah.

Neo (15:09)
everyone,

Raena (15:08)
Good.

Neo (15:09)
now it's time to break out your pen and pad because we've got a wild one today. If you're new to this show, here's how this works. I'm going to walk us through a real reported alien encounter exactly as it was documented. Then Andrew, Raena and myself, we're going to break it down, decide whether this one feels mostly true or mostly like something else entirely. And of course we

Android (15:13)
Woo hoo yeah!

Raena (15:15)
So excited.

Neo (15:32)
our audiences take on the, so just add it into the comments. All right, let's get into it.

It's the Cash Landrum incident. Reyna, are you ready?

Raena (15:40)
I am, I've been born ready for this day, Neal.

Neo (15:43)
All

right. All Yes, I know. I know. All right. Here we go. All right. This place, this takes place in Huffman, Texas in

This is about 9 PM at night. It was the lull between Christmas and New Year's in 1980.

Betty cash, Vicky Landrum and Vicky's seven year old grandson, Colby were driving through the pine forest near Dayton, about 40 miles Northeast of

drove into a nearby new, Cainey, I believe you say it for a casual dinner, then set out for

Android (16:12)
Mm-hmm. Yep.

Neo (16:14)
took a rural shortcut through

a remote area of forest, ⁓ and an open road they were on. It was just after 9 PM when they spotted a

It was a massive diamond-shaped craft. It was hanging low over the road, and it emitted a blazing fiery glow from its

Now, Betty, Betty, who was driving, pulled the car to a stop about 60 feet from the object, not far.

and stepped outside to get a better look, according to the report. The heat was so intense that it burned her skin almost immediately. was 60 feet away from some flame that's going to burn your skin. That's pretty intense. ⁓ Moments later, the object slowly began to ascend. At the same time, according to the report, about 23 CH-47 Chinook helicopters surrounded and followed the craft off toward the

So the family drove home, but all three began experiencing medical issues within hours skin blisters hair loss nausea and vomiting eye damage and Betty cash was hospitalized for over two weeks with radiation like

and then the trio

They later, they filed a $20 million lawsuit against the US government claiming negligence. This is very interesting. So the attorney, Gerstin, he's known for his work on UFO related cases, took up their

the lawsuit ran into wall after wall. So the Department of Army Inspector General claimed no military helicopters were in the area that

No military units admitted to tracking or recovering an unidentified craft. Radar data from the night was inconclusive or missing. And in 1986, after years of illegal wrangling, a federal judge dismissed the case. They cited insufficient evidence. The government essentially said that we can't confirm anything happened. Therefore, we can't be responsible.

Android (18:24)
Yeah, throw it out.

Neo (18:33)
So there was no known aircraft match the description of military branch claim the helicopters, no official explanation was ever given. And that's the official

of the cash Landrum UFO incident.

now I opened the floor to you guys. Well, let's fill in any question. Anybody have any questions about anything then, or any details they'd like to fill in? Let's get to that. And then we'll decide whether we think this is mostly true or

Andrew, you always have something you want to

Android (18:56)
What?

Yeah. So it's, it's, it's fascinating. this story is fascinating. And as I dug into it, I kept digging, but did you, did you find out about John Schuster? Did you hear about John Schuster during this whole thing? Okay. So John Schuster, ⁓ is a researcher investigator. He came out and investigated the scene. So he actually went out to the road where Betty and Vicky had stopped.

Raena (18:58)
Yeah.

Neo (19:10)
No, no, no, tell me, tell me.

Android (19:25)
And Neal, you spoke about the heat. Betty said that the heat was so hot that she couldn't grab the handle of the car. The car door was so hot. All she remembers is Vicki yelling at her, telling her to get back in the car, get back in the car, let's drive away, let's drive

Neo (19:27)
Yes.

Yeah, it got very hot. Yeah.

Android (19:42)
So the 23 helicopters was seen by all three.

The young boy Colby is the one that was like, there were 23, because they asked him, how many were there? He's like, I counted 23 in the sky. So John Schuster went out there, seven year old kid, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he could only count to 30, I heard, but he got 23. So that was a good thing.

Raena (19:50)
Thank

Neo (19:53)
The seven-year-old, the seven-year-old counted 23. He counted to 23.

Raena (19:56)
Mm-hmm.

Neo (20:00)
I got 23. Yeah.

Raena (20:02)
Wasn't

there a deputy that also, a deputy and his wife that saw it, saw all those helicopters?

Neo (20:04)
Yep.

Android (20:06)
Yes, Dayton

police officer Lamar and Marie

only saw the helicopters.

Neo (20:14)
Raena

is our first guest that's done her homework on this story, I'm loving this.

Android (20:18)
I know, this is fantastic, I love it.

Raena (20:18)
⁓ yeah.

Android (20:20)
So

here's something weird, okay? So Schuster goes out there, they go out to the road where they say that the ship happened and there was a burn mark in the middle of the

what's weird is that when they went out, Schuster went back six months later, they had done road repair and the burn mark was gone.

Raena (20:36)
Mm-hmm.

They completely like took out the whole road and redid it just in that little section of nothing

Android (20:47)
Yeah.

Raena (20:49)
just right there.

Android (20:49)
It wasn't like they were repaving the whole road. It wasn't like,

this whole road needs to be repaved. They did that one section, which is, Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So

Raena (20:54)
one section.

Neo (20:55)
Wow. Okay. Okay. All right.

Wait, I, this is changing a lot for me right now. Go ahead. Go ahead.

Android (21:03)
Hmm, shall I continue? Yes!

Raena (21:05)
Yes, yes.

Neo (21:05)
But I love

that, I mean, love, like, they didn't, nobody thought at that moment, hey, if we just change this section, people, there might be more questions.

Raena (21:15)
Mm-hmm.

Android (21:16)
Well, the

other thing too is that there were 10 other witnesses,

10 other people that came forward, besides the deputy and his wife, 10 other folks came forward and said that they saw the helicopters in the sky. They saw lights in the sky. At the same time that they saw the helicopter, yeah, was.

Neo (21:28)
So around the same time they saw these helicopters?

But they didn't see the UFO?

Android (21:35)
No, no, the only folks that experienced the ship with the big fire coming out, you know, this thing was the size of a water tower is how they described it. I mean, that's freaking huge, man. I mean, that's that's really big with like fire shooting out the bottom of it. So it was like almost hovering before it. It kind of it kind of took off.

Raena (21:35)
Mm-mm.

Yeah.

Neo (21:44)
Hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Raena, is

Andrew missing anything? Is there anything he's not telling me?

Raena (21:58)
One of the interesting details that I enjoyed

her car, her Pontiac 1970, early 1980 Pontiac, on the dashboard, it was so hot when she put her hand on it, it stayed there. It left a handprint in that dashboard because it

Neo (22:19)
horrifying that must've been for that little boy.

Android (22:19)
Yeah, but...

Raena (22:21)
Yo, yeah.

Android (22:22)
Yeah,

but you know, the outside of the car showed no semblance of being burned at all, which is really, really weird. So that heat was, I don't know. Now the other thing too, they get to the hospital, right? ⁓ Same night, they go to the hospital. ends up staying there, right? And all she kept saying was, I'm thirsty, I'm so thirsty, I'm so thirsty, right? The medical staff at the hospital actually said that they think that she suffered radiation poisoning. That was their diagnosis.

Neo (22:28)
What? How? How?

Yeah, same night. They went to the hospital same night. Yeah.

Mm-hmm

Android (22:52)
But it was never really an official diagnosis. They're just like, oh, she looks like somebody who's been, you know, had radiation poisoning and radiation bursts. It was 1980. They barely, you know, and this is in Dayton, Texas. I don't even know if they, you know, where she went. She might've gone to the veterinary hospital for all I know. Just tiger in there. She looked like she got burned, but I'm not really sure.

Neo (22:57)
But they don't do blood tests for that. How's that work?

Raena (22:59)
It was 1980. Yeah.

Neo (23:01)
Yeah. ⁓

Right. Just reel her. Roll her right in back here.

Raena (23:08)
Hahaha.

Neo (23:14)
Yeah, I'm saying radiation

all day long.

Android (23:18)
suffered with hair loss and they said that her face was so swollen from whatever it was that she was unrecognizable.

Raena (23:20)
Right.

Neo (23:20)
Okay?

Android (23:27)
Whatever she was exposed to was really, it really affected

Okay.

Neo (23:30)
wait? have a question for either of

you since you guys have

the details in here.

they saw the helicopters, the witnesses, did they say which way they were coming from or where they were coming from? Or, mean, cause that base is right there. Isn't there a base right there?

Android (23:41)
Right, but,

Raena (23:41)
Yeah, there's a bass

right there.

Android (23:42)
well, there's not only one base located near Dayton, Texas.

There are one, two, three. So there's Fort Bliss, there's Fort Sam Houston, there's Lackland Air Force Base, Goodfellow Air Force, notice what I keep saying, Air Force Base, Langland Air Force Base, Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base, and the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Raena (23:52)
you

Neo (23:53)
So

Yeah, right.

Raena (23:58)
Hmm.

Neo (24:00)
Yeah.

Android (24:06)
So there's lots of Air Force bases.

Neo (24:06)
Okay.

Raena (24:08)
Air Force.

Android (24:09)
within, I'm gonna say a hundred miles of that area.

I you know where I'm going with

different twist. Okay. Did you know that Betty and Vicki actually went and they were called by the Air Force to have a meeting with

Neo (24:17)
I know you.

Android (24:26)
they went on August the 21st of 1981, they went to Bergstrom Air Force Base.

Neo (24:33)
So a year

the incident.

Raena (24:35)
A year

Android (24:35)
Year

Raena (24:35)
later.

Android (24:36)
after, almost a year later, yeah, almost a year later.

Neo (24:38)
The lawsuit was

filed by then. I take it.

Android (24:41)
No, not yet. Not yet. They hadn't filed the lawsuit yet. They filed the lawsuit in 1982, and it stuck in the courts for four years before in 86 that the federal judge said, throw it out. There's no proof. Yes. Yeah. It's so wild. mean, this is like crazy stuff. So they go there, and the room that they bring them in to question them, there's a map on the wall.

Raena (24:41)
Not yet, not yet.

Neo (24:51)
Right, right, right. I said no. Okay, so this is interesting. So they're meeting with them prior to filing this lawsuit. This is all very interesting.

Android (25:08)
And there's an area that's marked on that map that is the exact area where they

They said that.

Raena (25:13)
That's suspicious.

Neo (25:14)
Who

That's suspicious.

who's well, no, but, why right. But who, who, who said this Betty? They said that they, but they saw this map. I mean, it's not uncommon for the air force to have a map in their office.

Android (25:16)
Why would they leave that up? It's like...

Betty and Vicki, both said this. Both of them said this. Yes.

They have maps in their rooms? No.

No. They said that they were treated hostilly. They were questioned. I think they were trying to intimidate them. They never really said like how, they just said that it was a very hostile environment that they were in. They questioned them for two hours. They were there for two hours. They said they were treated, treated terribly. Yeah, with the windows up in Texas. It was really, it was really hot.

Neo (25:37)
So they're trying to scare them, like trying to scare them.

Raena (25:40)
Yeah.

Neo (25:52)
They left Colby in the car for the whole time. Colby sat. left Colby. Colby never left the car. He never got out of the car.

Raena (25:59)
Yeah.

Android (25:59)
It was really hot in

the car. People were like, hey, someone should roll crack a window for that kid.

Neo (26:03)
ain't

no laws for it out in Texas. No, no, you can.

Raena (26:05)
I think honestly

Android (26:06)
Not in 1981!

Raena (26:08)
that kid was sitting up front with his with his grandma back in the 80s. He was sitting up front. All right on her right on her lap. We used to do that.

Neo (26:11)
Well, probably. Yeah, the old bucket seats, yeah.

Android (26:15)
Yeah, possibly. Yeah.

Yeah, but they even said that he was in the backseat. They said that he was in the backseat. So anyway, right after that is when they decided to put the lawsuit in 1982.

Neo (26:18)
Definitely.

screaming his poor little head off, poor kid.

So they must

have had the conversation that they had with these guys, must have said, ⁓ this shit, this is

Raena (26:32)
Yeah.

Android (26:34)
Yes.

Neo (26:36)
is fucked, this messed up.

Raena (26:36)
And then she contacted

Android (26:36)
Right. Right.

Raena (26:38)
their senators, right? And the senators said they were on TV.

Android (26:40)
She, yeah, she reached out to everybody and everybody's like, you're crazy.

Neo (26:44)
well we what did

this what the senator said what

Raena (26:46)
They said, you know,

contact the Air Force and then they, then, and then have, sue them, sue them, you know, sue them for damages.

Android (26:52)
They did.

Neo (26:57)
So

senator was telling them to go sue them for damages. Interesting.

Raena (27:00)
I believe so, that's what I remember. Andrew, you might know better

Android (27:01)
Yeah.

So the allegations that they put against the US government was

Raena (27:03)
than me.

Neo (27:07)
Mm.

Android (27:08)
the helicopters in the area were military, that they had been exposed to something because later in life, Betty developed breast cancer. Vicki developed a cataract in her left eye from this and then ⁓ Betty had hair loss.

Raena (27:16)
Right.

Neo (27:16)
Okay.

What about the boy? Anything happen to him?

Android (27:25)
He went on to be a mass murderer, the biggest serial killer Texas has ever seen.

Neo (27:28)
That's horrible. ⁓

Raena (27:34)
Nobody was on ancient aliens. I know that for two episodes. Yeah.

Neo (27:37)
he was.

Android (27:37)
Yeah,

so after all of this, they did make the talk show circuit. Vicki was on that. It's incredible.

Neo (27:44)
Well, this was where they doing this during the lawsuit. Probably you get publicity or no.

Android (27:50)
No, I think they couldn't do anything like that until after the lawsuit was over. But Vicki was on That's Incredible and she underwent hypnosis live on the show. Yeah. And so she was like she she was like, I don't remember anything. I had a bad chili dog at that drive in before we got to the. ⁓

Raena (27:50)
No.

Neo (27:54)
Okay.

Raena (27:59)
⁓ I didn't know that. ⁓ that's cool.

Neo (28:00)
Mmm.

It's all a lie.

you

Raena (28:14)
That's...

Neo (28:14)
Meemaw made me a gin and tonic.

Android (28:18)
She was like, I had some moonshine and a chili dog and then I had explosive diarrhea and it was crazy.

Raena (28:22)
They were Andrew.

Andrew, they were coming back from bingo. They were playing bingo.

Neo (28:25)
Ha ha ha!

Android (28:28)
Right,

yeah, they had Colby there. Meemaw, Meemaw, that's not a 16, that's a 19. You're seeing it upside down. That's why the ship was upside down. No, so anyway.

Raena (28:31)
doing rippers at bingo.

Neo (28:44)
Where's this boy's father?

Raena (28:46)
Actually, it's a good question.

Neo (28:48)
Yeah.

Android (28:49)
I don't they don't ever mention his dad or his parents or anything like that. So. Okay, so what else I got for you is this.

Neo (28:52)
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I'm loving this. Okay, what else we got? What else? Come on. Gimme some- Gimme-

Gimme, uh, something now I'm gonna go,

Android (28:59)
you ready?

Neo (29:00)
Yeah, I'm ready.

Android (29:01)
There was a livestock show that took place in 1981. Yes. Yes. Now Colby, listen to this. 1981, remember their thing happened in 1980. This lawsuit came in 81 in early August. August 21st is when they went to the Air Force base. The Air Force had called them and said that

Neo (29:04)
WHAT?!

Raena (29:05)
Wow, groundbreaking.

Neo (29:08)
Okay. Wait, what year did that happen? The livestock show? Okay. Yep. Yep. Okay.

Android (29:25)
but in early August there was a live show, a livestock show that took place,

And Vicki and Colby, grandma, grandson, go to this livestock

guess what lands in the middle of the livestock show? One of those CH helicopters lands there. As soon as it happens, Colby freaks out.

Neo (29:42)
Okay.

jeez.

Raena (29:48)

Android (29:48)
Because the last

time he saw one of these helicopters was like a year ago, right? And he saw them and then

Raena (29:51)
Yeah, PTSD.

Neo (29:51)
Okay.

Android (29:53)
So Vicki calms him down and she says, look, why don't we go and talk to the

Neo (29:53)
Right?

Android (29:59)
Maybe he'll let you on the aircraft and this will help you work through your fear of these helicopters. So they decide to do that.

Neo (30:03)
So Vicky's stuffing the she's stuffing

the helicopter down Colby's porthole the kids already been through enough now She's gonna be like you're getting on that helicopter boy Yeah Yeah, exactly get in

Raena (30:09)
It's the 80s. It's the 80s. Get in there. I'll give you something to cry about.

Neo (30:17)
there

Android (30:17)
So,

Vicki has the wherewithal to ask the pilot a question and says, hey, last year, were you flying around this

Neo (30:21)
Yeah. ⁓

Android (30:28)
Have you ever seen any UFOs or anything like that? And he said that he had been out to Huffman to check out UFOs.

Neo (30:37)
That's

not true. For real?

Raena (30:38)
Well, that's a hearsay.

Android (30:39)
Vicky

Raena (30:40)
It's hearsay.

Android (30:40)
told him, Vicky told him she had seen one and that what happened to Betty, they got burned and they were sick. And he immediately said, get off the helicopter. Get out of here. Okay. Later, this is where it gets cool. He's like, grandma, there are aliens and they're coming to get me at the Sonic. And I'm going to get a chili dog. And ⁓ they made me get.

Raena (30:51)

Neo (30:52)
No.

So now the boy's getting even now he's getting abused by this guy. Yeah.

You made me get on a helicopter and I got yelled

at.

Raena (31:09)
Andrew, are you hungry? You keep mentioning chili dogs. You need to go get one.

Android (31:10)
Now.

Neo (31:13)
He does. Yeah.

Android (31:13)
I just haven't had a chili dog in forever. That's all. I just thought about chili dogs.

Texas and chili dogs. Okay, so ⁓ they later learned that the

Neo (31:18)
I don't think I've ever had one.

Android (31:23)
had a different experience that happened to him three years prior in 1977. He had a UFO experience while he was flying his helicopter. The pilot of the helicopter, the guy that they talked to.

Neo (31:33)
Who, wait, who did?

Raena (31:34)
the pilot.

Neo (31:37)
The

guy that abused Colby to get off the helicopter.

Android (31:41)
The guy that invited him on first and then screamed at him.

Neo (31:45)
Yeah, yeah, then yelled at

him. Where's your dad? Get off my copter.

Raena (31:47)
Wow.

Android (31:50)
But it's wild that this guy says that he hadn't experienced it and he realized he was talking about it and said, I can't get out of here. I can't talk about it. And then they found out that, you know, three years prior he had been piloting a helicopter that had seen a UFO. Just saying. Now, none of this is documented, but it's part of the folklore we'll call it.

Neo (32:03)
Okay. All right. So no, it's interesting, but this was, this was found.

Raena (32:10)
Yeah.

Neo (32:10)
This is what Schussler discovered. Is this through his investigation, the guy from move on? Okay. All right. Okay.

Android (32:15)
Yes, yep, yep. So here's

something. This is where we go to debunk a little bit, right? Betty, I'm gonna have a drink. No, I'm gonna wait, I'm gonna wait. Okay.

Neo (32:24)
Go ahead, take your drink. Go ahead, take your drink. Take your drink. Take your drink from

your giant yellow cup, bigger than the screen. Yeah, yeah, right, okay. You too, you too, nerds.

Raena (32:32)
It's Wolverine.

Android (32:32)
It's Wolverine.

Come on. Okay. So.

Neo (32:40)
It's Wolverine!

Android (32:40)
Okay, Betty.

Raena (32:42)
It's the year

of the nerds, I don't care.

Android (32:44)
Betty had Betty suffered from alopecia. So they're saying that her whole life, so they're saying that her hair loss probably was not caused by radiation from the

Neo (32:45)
Yeah.

Okay, but wait, her whole life? Yeah, right? Yeah.

don't you think in a lawsuit, if there is a lawsuit, they're going to test for radiation poisoning. You're saying that they couldn't

Raena (33:05)
And she all those blisters

Android (33:05)
They didn't.

Raena (33:07)
and everything.

Android (33:07)
They didn't. I mean, the way they described her face is that she was like swollen.

Neo (33:12)
Well, that's not from Malapitia, right? that's freaking. That's very weird.

Android (33:14)
No, not any alopecia I know of.

Raena (33:15)
now.

Android (33:18)
Yeah, it's weird. They also tested the car, and there was no radiation ever found in the car or on the car. There were no burns. was nothing. The car looked like a normal car. But yet,

Neo (33:31)
But they tested the

area, the ground around, everything. They didn't find any.

Android (33:34)
Nothing.

They found nothing. But who's doing the investigation? That's the thing. Okay.

Neo (33:37)
Isn't

The air force. Yeah.

Raena (33:39)
Right. I always

thought it was interesting that the Air Force kept wanting to buy her car.

Neo (33:42)
Wait, wait.

Raena (33:48)
They want, yeah. That's what.

Android (33:47)
Yeah. ⁓ yeah, yeah, that

Neo (33:48)
Wait, I didn't know this. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Wait, wait, wait, let rain

tell me tell me

Android (33:52)
was my that was rain it just stole my last fire. That was my last my last thunder was right there.

Raena (33:55)
That was me.

Neo (33:57)
Well, you know what? If we don't stop

you, if we don't stop you, you're just going to keep going. Yeah.

Raena (34:01)
You're just going to keep going. But that was, that

was the big kind of gotcha for me is they wanted her car and she wouldn't sell

Android (34:04)
Yeah.

Yeah.

Raena (34:09)
Andrew.

Neo (34:09)
Alright.

glad you stole it from him. He needs to be knocked down every now and again because of this stupid information he gives us. That's always good.

Android (34:17)
That's always debunking it good.

Neo (34:19)
He's always

debunking shit. Can't stand it. alright, is this- is there anything else? Cause we should get to whether we all think this is a mostly true alien story or not. What- what- is there anything else I'm- we're missing that I should know?

Raena (34:23)
Damn it.

Android (34:23)
I hate him. I hate him.

I got

it, I think we got it all, right, Raena? I think that's everything.

Raena (34:34)

one of the, one of the interesting facts that I found was, and this is, you know, hearsay, whatever. ⁓ when doctor, when they asked Dr. Steven Greer about it, he said with his information, he thinks that it was a downed spacecraft, but we added nuclear propulsion to it

and it was down technology.

Neo (34:59)
So it was found technology, found technology that

we added our own touch to it.

Raena (35:03)
nuclear, yes,

nuclear propulsion. I dived into, right, I dived into a whole joint committee session in 1959 of sketches and things on nuclear and liquid and like all these different propulsion systems and how they wanted to go public in 1959 with that information that they were able to build that. we're talking 30 years later and then a downed spaceship.

Neo (35:07)
and they were testing it.

Android (35:09)
Wow.

That's cool.

No.

Raena (35:33)
We're going to throw in our own propulsion to move it because they couldn't figure out the technology. And then those Chinooks were just babysitting it

Android (35:34)
that's cool. Okay. Right.

Neo (35:42)
our news edition this week, we just talked about 10 alien craft that apparently whistleblowers had told us that we have, that we have repurposed some technology in. So it's all very, this is very interesting. All right, is there any last things? Then let's weigh in.

Android (35:45)
Yeah.

Yeah. Yes. The last

Raena (35:53)
Yeah.

Android (35:55)
thing about the court case that they had against them, they actually put the case against the army, against NASA and against the Air Force. Just to let you know, those were the three people that they're suing them for 20 million dollars. Yeah. They did not when it was thrown out because well, you've got I mean, think about who's doing the investigations, right? If you're suing the government and the government is doing the investigation, do you think they're going to be like, by the way,

Neo (36:05)
and suing them for 20 million bucks and they didn't win. They shut it down. I mean, that's a tough, that's a tough battle.

Raena (36:10)
No.

Cough

Neo (36:17)
Yeah, right.

Raena (36:18)
Yeah.

Android (36:23)
Here are these secret files I wanted to give you. Like, that's not gonna happen.

Neo (36:24)
Well, here's here's a great here's a great question

Raena (36:25)
No.

Neo (36:28)
on something like this I think this is the only case that we've come across where we found that ⁓ the witnesses or the victims sued and it was UFO related, right? So it's one of the only ones we've ever come across ⁓ What happens if disclosure happens and it is revealed that they have this technology? Do they open that case? Can they open that case a reopen of the family and go well fuck you man. You lied to us

Android (36:36)
Yes. Yeah. Yeah.

Colby win money? They're both, both are dead.

Raena (36:51)
Yeah, Colby.

Android (36:52)
Yeah, Colby's alive still. So Colby could, Colby could win, you know, and then if they added on more money because it's $20 million in 1982, it'd be like $200 million now.

Raena (36:52)
Yeah, Colby is the only one. Yeah.

Neo (36:59)
Yes, right. Right. I mean,

you got to start thinking about this stuff because this could be, you know, even, you know, we don't only think about, what's, what's, how's religion going to be affected when aliens reveal themselves or when the government says, yes, we do actually have this technology, whatever. You're just thinking about, my God, they've had this technology. They didn't tell us, well, no, wait a minute. People were affected by a lot of this stuff through the years.

Android (37:14)
Right, right.

Raena (37:21)
You heard.

Android (37:22)
Yeah, and

I don't think she's the only one. mean, this is the only one that we really, you we think about all the alien stories. This is one that is really like huge government cover up that in Phoenix lights. But yeah, I'm going to, this is what I'm going to say. I'm I'm waiting. I'm waiting. Okay. So, um, this one I'm on the fence with, um, I'm going to go with.

Neo (37:33)
Yeah, that's what you're leaning in. You're saying huge government cover. All right. All right. Go ahead. You weigh it. Let's go. Let's get to it. Or is it mostly true alien story or not? Andrew.

Raena (37:34)
Yeah.

Android (37:48)
It is a true story, not even mostly true. This is a true story. This really happened to these

Neo (37:52)
Love it.

Android (37:53)
that it is.

Neo (37:53)
But for branding

purposes, we always say mostly

Android (37:56)
I'm going to say that it was a government

something went wrong with it. They were testing something. The fact that there were 23 helicopters in the sky around this thing to make sure that it got back to wherever it came from, the amount of Air Force bases that are in the area. I'm going to go, no, it's not a mostly true alien story.

But I'm going to go, is a true story and a government

Neo (38:20)
Okay, very good. I love it. I loved all the information you shared with us. So to the two of you, this is like freaking you guys tag team me on this one. Yeah, I know. I got your replacement, Andrew.

Android (38:28)
Marina's gonna be on next week for the next show, so let's watch.

Raena (38:29)
Hey, we got it figured

out you can have me on any time

Android (38:34)
Wow! No,

Neo (38:35)
HNNNN

Android (38:35)
I think it might be more interesting, which is Reina and I do in this show.

Neo (38:38)
Yeah,

Raena (38:39)
Hey, we can do that, Andrew.

Neo (38:39)
wow. No, no, nobody likes all just all know-it-alls. Nobody likes a whole show of know-it-alls. There's got to be the dumb guy.

Raena (38:46)
That's true, that's true. We need the other opinion.

Android (38:46)
Yeah, the spin is

she's the believer, I'm the non-believer. It's kind of like, you know?

Neo (38:51)
Okay,

well, we'll see how that goes. right, Raena, it's time for you to weigh in. Is this a mostly true alien story or

Raena (38:59)
actually I do agree with Andrew. This is mostly true, but I kind of feel like what Dr. Stephen Greer said. This was a downed UFO craft, which I believe we've gotten technology in the past. So I think this was a downed UFO craft with a nuclear propulsion system on it. What they received was gamma radiation, specifically gamma radiation from ⁓ that because

From my understanding,

don't usually see fire from UFO. There might be heat and things like that, but you don't see fire like a rocket ship. But when you dive in and look into that nuclear propulsion systems that we've had since 1950s, ⁓ I think that's very possible. So it was definitely a government cover-up. They dismissed those poor women and watching their interviews on

Android (39:32)
Right, yeah.

Raena (39:54)
all the TV shows, those women were stoic, their body language, their energy, they were ⁓ very deeply in their faith, their Christian faith. These were Christian, Southern Christian women that were, you know, a lot of fear and they knew what happened to them and they were dismissed, just psh.

I think it was a government coverup. I don't think extraterrestrials were involved. I think it was a man thing. It was man versus man.

Neo (40:23)
Andrew says it is a mostly true story, but it was a government ⁓ craft of sorts and it was a

Reyna, you're saying that it is a cover-up as well. It is a mostly true story, but you're leaning that we're using alien technology and adding our own man-made propulsion systems on it to test it out. Very cool.

All right. So my initial reaction when I was hearing this story and the details you guys filled in, man, it was just really was terrific. I, that was like for me, one of the most fulfilling stories we've told of, you know, filling in the details of stuff. So very

my initial reaction before hearing what you guys had to say was exactly what you said, right? And there's no, I don't think there is a UFO that would spew fire and have all of this engine and gas and liquid flying out of it.

So immediately I thought this was a government tested

I always question though, but what were they doing? Why are they out there? And what are 23 freaking helicopters going to do surrounding it? What are they going to

They're just around it.

Raena (41:26)
Now, why was it around

people? If they're testing their own craft, why is it around anybody and not in the middle of nowhere?

Neo (41:30)
Yeah.

Android (41:30)
Well, we don't. Yeah, well, they they could

have been the helicopters could have been latched onto it. You know, like the thing couldn't fly yet, but they were testing the engine on it to make sure that the engine could work. mean, there's there's. Yeah.

Raena (41:39)
Mm-hmm.

Neo (41:43)
Yeah, but that takes time. mean that that

takes time. That's that's where three witnesses go. Well, then they flew over and they dropped cables and then they attached the fucking thing and then they took off with it. You know, I was like, how how's that going to possibly, you know, be the thing? I just don't understand that whole, ⁓ you know, that's where I go. Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.

Android (41:53)
Right.

Raena (42:03)
And that was the

size of a water tower. So this thing was huge. It wasn't like they could pick it up with a crane and move it on a truck, you know.

Android (42:06)
Yeah, I mean, this thing is huge. They could just write maybe,

Neo (42:10)
Mm-hmm.

Android (42:11)
maybe on those helicopters, was stuff that they could have covered it up with or contained it with had it did crash. Yeah.

Neo (42:17)
Possibly maybe a net or something. I don't know some something

they could grab at anyway That was my initial reactions with the details you guys filled in and I immediately go. Okay put the dots together This was definitely a cover-up. I believe this is a mostly true alien story and I'm with Reina on this I think that was alien technology

We humped it up by adding our bullshit to it thinking that we could you know do something with

and I, I think shame on the air force for just denying

think they all could have gone away and never been reported had they paid them something. Had they done something with that, you know.

Raena (42:49)
Yeah, because they went on a

Android (42:49)
Yeah, yeah, they

should have helped them,

Raena (42:51)
world tour of interviews. They were everywhere after that happened.

Neo (42:54)
Yes.

And I think what goes around comes around. I think one day

Colby, the mass murderer, he's going to come back and he's going to sue them and he's going to get. He's not a mass murderer. OK, no, I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Colby, we love you. We love

Android (43:05)
He's not a mass murderer. No. He's a really nice guy.

Raena (43:05)
He's not, he's not.

Neo (43:10)
I think that was just a horrible experience for him, right? And just to go through that and and you know, it's just just bad.

Raena (43:12)
Yeah, yeah.

Android (43:12)
Yeah, yeah.

Neo (43:17)
So this is a mostly true alien story and I'm glad we all kind of agree on this in our own way. And I loved all the details you guys gave us. All right. That's the Cash Landrum

It is one of the only UFO encounters with documented medical trauma, military overtones, and a whole lot of unanswered questions. We've all weighed in, but before we go, Raena, thank you so much for joining us today. What is your takeaway? What is your takeaway from this story?

Raena (43:40)
Yes. Thank you.

Android (43:42)
YEEE!

Raena (43:46)
this story, ⁓ having grown up in the eighties, I am Gen X. I'm a young Gen X. He was a little older than me, Colby, but, ⁓ you know, they really like to instill fear into everything that government, mean, that's that coverup rep, suppress, suppress, deny, deny, fear, fear. And I think these poor women.

Neo (44:08)
It's a shame.

Raena (44:10)
And, was it Vicki that died 18 years later to the exact day that when it happened? Yeah, I don't know if it's 18 years, but on the day that it exactly happened, she died. So it was definitely an interesting case. just feel so bad for these women. They never got their justice or vindication and cover up, cover up, deny, deny. And we know that the government does that

Android (44:16)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Neo (44:17)
Is that right? Wow.
